Ok fellas. Let’s check out her artistic side. This date night idea is a great way to spend a little time, sip a little wine and potentially take home a masterpiece. Ok that rhyme was a little corny, but this honestly is another great way to step outside of the box that is dinner and movies. Many chic wine bars are now offering paint classes at night throughout the week. The concept is simple. For about $35-$40 you get a glass or two of wine, a canvas, and the necessary paint supplies. A local artist then guides you through a painting that in the end you get to take home. I know you’re thinking you’re no Picasso. but you don’t have to be. The paintings are relatively simple and the interaction between you two as you sip wine, paint, and mess up is priceless. It will give you a great sense of her creativity (ore lack thereof) and is a great, simple “work-night” kind of date. Here in Houston this is offered on Wednesday nights by Cork Soakers but just Google your local wine bars to see where it’s available in your cities. You usually have to make a reservation as spots sell out quickly each week.
